1.The Baths and White Bay

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 595 reviews · from $395Our pick

Set out from St. Thomas at 7:30 a.m. for The Baths on Virgin Gorda and White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. Your captain and mate guide you through the boulders, provide snorkel gear, snacks, and an open bar, then leave you time for lunch and Painkillers at Soggy Dollar Bar. Bring a passport, cash, and shoes suited to rocky paths.

“The crew was great but this trip is too rushed. It takes a long time to get over to Virgin Gorda and you are rushed through the Baths. Again, not the crew’s fault, this is just the reality of how long it takes to see all this stuff. Then you will have a long boat ride over to Jost and barely have enough time to see anything or get lunch. By the time we swam to shore it was around 1:15 and we had to be back on the boat by 3:00. If you want to see the Baths and Jost, I would bite the bullet and book separate day…”

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 86 reviews · from $329Best value

This full-day Cruz Bay Watersports trip leaves from The Westin St. John at 8 a.m. for Virgin Gorda’s Baths. You’ll get breakfast, lunch at Top of the Baths, snorkeling gear, an open bar, and time at Treasure Point Caves. Captain Remo, Captain Reemo, and guide Bobbie have earned special praise, though the rocky Baths route requires wet-grip shoes and steady footing.

“The snorkeling on the way back from the Baths was the best part of the day. The Baths tour was rushed and should be longer. Maybe have lunch on the boat to allow more time for the Baths tour.”

“Beautiful experience, but we felt extremely rushed with only 10-15 minutes to enjoy the breathtaking beaches at the Baths. Also, the description wasn't clear that a moderate hike on slippery rocks would be involved so wear appropriate shoes. Lunch was delicious and snorkeling at Treasure Cave was amazing.”

★★★★★★★★★★5.0 · 16 reviews

You’ll take a private, catered boat from Tortola to Virgin Gorda’s Baths National Park, then explore giant granite boulders, tunnels, pools, and Devil’s Bay. The four-hour outing includes water, soda, beer, and private transport for up to six people. Joel, Rog, and Robert are among the local crew connected with the experience.

“This was an amazing experience! We did the Baths a few years ago on our own, and we knew we didn’t want to do that again. When I found this, I was so excited. Rog, our boat captain was so helpful and friendly. He had a great playlist! 100% recommend this!”
